DD_APHill Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 When I try to host a multiplayer server through the game or with Dserver, my friends can see my server, when they connect within a few seconds, their game locks up. The ports I have opened are: TCP 28000, UDP 28000 TCP28100. I have tried resaving in the mission editor to my dogfight folder as suggested in other posts with no change. I think the .list file is correct. This happens with any mission I try to host. I used to be able to host using the router I have. Here is the path to the dogfight folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\Multiplayer\Dogfight Here is the .list file from one of the missions I have tried to host: filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.chs","577d7c75" filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.eng","b156e649" filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.fra","65a1a0c7" filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.ger","806a5eef" filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.pol","abc4cc5f" filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.rus","d133221f" filename="multiplayer/dogfight/syndicate_the channel_1.spa","0310983d" Can anyone help me out here? Thanks for any suggestions.
DD_APHill Posted September 16, 2022 Author Posted September 16, 2022 Ok, got it sorted out. I uninstalled the game, downloaded a new launcher (install exe) from my profile at il2sturmovik.com/ Installed it as administrator to C:\Program Files\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles instead of C:\Program Files (x86) \1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles That did the trick.
