S10JlAbraxis Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Back in 2019 I downloaded an editable file that allowed me to select which data I wanted to show up in the "speed bar" that appears on the lower left of the screen. All I wanted was the compass. This worked great but now there is a problem since I would also like to see the g-meter but the mod file does not include an editable line for that since it was created prior to the g-meter release. Does anyone know if there is a more updated version of this mod that allows inclusion of just the compass and g-meter? Thanks!!!
Hook_Echo Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 You don't need a mod anymore. In the difficulty settings menu there is a check box for information bar or panel or something like that. If it is unchecked you will only see the compass and a simplified g meter. The g meter is only 1,2,3,etc. The g meter in the full information bar goes to the tenth place ie 2.1 1

S10JlAbraxis Posted September 14, 2022 Author Posted September 14, 2022 Thanks for the responses! I used "overload" with the mod and that worked perfectly. Using the mod is a better option for me since that version of the g meter shows pilot fatigue which is important. I really do not think showing fatigue is cheating since it is imposable to guage that in a simulation and having some sense of it is critical for planing next moves during a dogfight.
Hook_Echo Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Oh I didn't know it showed fatigue. I will have to check that out.
