Sketch Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 When you place the cliffs from the template, and then press the "place on ground" button the cliffs will be floating in the air. This is most likely because the 'cliffs ground objects' align themselves with the top mountain instead of the beachhead. Just something to look out for when you build your new missions in Normandy! 2
IckyATLAS Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 If you move the cliff on water and click place on ground, then you get the 0 altitude for that ground object. On a terrain it will set the Icon at the terrain altitude which is the ground level. XYZ coordinates are the ones of the Icon of the object. These ground objects can be moved in three dimensions, and you can freely set the altitude. You can also rotate it in three dimensions, and the center of rotation is the Icon. This allows a lot of freedom when playing with ground objects. By positioning concrete slabs in space and then grouping them you can build certain new objects. So many possibilities with this editor.
