Crockett Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 I've created a new career in Operation Overlord and the first mission is to "Patrol the Beachhead". When the mission loads, I'm looking at the ocean that goes on and on -- no planes -- no actual mission! I've tried to accelerate the mission at 8x and waited and waited and waited some more -- with no changes! When I Exit, I can "Finish Spectate" but it takes me back to the same "Patrol the Beachhead" mission and the ocean scene starts all over again! I've tried aborting the mission and the next mission is the "Patrol the Beachhead" mission again with the ocean scene all over again! How do I proceed with my career?
AEthelraedUnraed Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 (edited) Sounds like a bug. You can post it here: At least specify which squadron and date, and as much of the mission details you remember from the briefing (mission type/target). If you didn't start another auto-generated mission since then (i.e. Career, Quick Mission or Advanced Quick Mission), attach the /data/Missions/_gen.Mission and /data/mgen.log files. Jaegermeister Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 What plane are you assigned to in the mission? Can you fly it in other parts of the sim? If so, please either post the mission files in a .zip file of just state what Nationality, plane and unit you are flying for.
Crockett Posted September 13, 2022 Author Posted September 13, 2022 My missions always start in the air. Someone suggested that I should start at the airfield rather than in the air. How do I change it?

Someone suggested that I should start at the airfield rather than in the air. How do I change it? Bottom of the screen showing the list of missions for the day, lower right-hand corner.
