i only get audio in my VR HMD?

Only happens in VR. i get audio in non VR mode.

 

i need some help here if possible. 

 

i have output audio on Realtek(r) and it works with other apps as im receiving audio no problem.

 

il2 is the only app not pushing audio via Realtek. is there some kind of trick to this? it used to work before i did a reinstall of windows. 

 

specifically im running a buttkicker gamer 2 via the Realtek 3.5 jack (worked fine before).

 

i plugged in a normal headset to the Realtek 3.5 jack and i get perfect audio from everything else but not il2. please help!
