savagebeest Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Which tank shoots the straightest? I'm learning about the tanks in this game.
moustache Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 you can find a lot of info on this site https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/world-war-ii-tanks.php , moreover, in game, when you open the map/briefing, you have an info tab on the tank you are currently driving (ammunition/engine/history...)... personal , I think it's the ferdinand 1
savagebeest Posted September 11, 2022 Author Posted September 11, 2022 I was thinking between. The panther and the Ferdinand.. 1
Frinik22 Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 (edited) The KwK 43 L71 mounted on the Elefant( or Ferdinand if you prefer), Panzer Ausf. VI B ( KT) , Jagdpanther and Nashorn has a velocity of 1000 m/s using standard Panzergranate 39/43 AP shells while the Kwk 42 L70 used on all Panther variants and the Jadpanzer IV L70 has a veoclity of 935 m/s firing Pzgr 39/42 AP shells.. Thus in TC the Elefant has the highest gun velocity. Edited October 2, 2022 by Frinik22

I think this is a loaded question no pun intended. Do you mean historically, or as they are modeled in Tank Crew? I think Frinik22 has interpreted your question in a historical context, but the game isn't historically accurate. If you want to learn about the historical vehicles themselves, the in-game info screens provided give a good overview of each vehicles most important stats. But if you want to learn about each vehicle as they are modeled in TC, you might find it more useful to just try each vehicle out for yourself. The built-in mission generator can be very useful for this type of thing as it allows you to pick the number and type of enemy you will face, as well as the type of ammo the Ai can use. If you know someone else with TC, you can also test each vehicle in a multi-player setting. I had originally purchased the game for my son and I, which gave me the luxury of testing the game in both single, and multi-player game modes.
ShampooX Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 (edited) OP first you must understand that Lachenkrieg does not actually play the game. That said - and I only play German - at 3k meters +, the Panther has the flattest trajectory and least amount of "windage" in the shot.... in the game. I have several thousand of hours in Finnish over more than two years. Sadly you are coming during the death of TC. Have fun though. Edited October 3, 2022 by ShampooActual
LachenKrieg Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 That is a little misleading don't you think @ShampooActual? I have a huge experience using TC. The only reason I no longer play is because the game has become unplayable for me as a simulator. I'm not interested in another WT type experience. I am hoping that this situation will be corrected, although I do realize the chance of that happening is probably zilch based on resent news.
