Missionbug Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 (edited) Hello guys, I have been attempting to get the latest update running since release day but here I am still having no luck. The launcher downloaded the update, took around nine hours, it went to initialise and then posted a failed message. I have tried removing the update folder (I am non Steam) and it analised the game but nothing to cure the issue. I have been able to launch it but each time either I get this message: Or the depending on aircraft it crashes to desktop! This happens for all the WWII stuff aircraft and tanks. However, I have been able to get the WWI stuff to fly: If I navaigate through the update folder it looks like there are files there that could actually be the update but there they remained: I have tried removing the update folder a few times but all it does is download various files about the check. Everything is paid for and although I did move the game to my E drive at one time the various Normandy updates and others over the last few years have been okay and installed without drama. I tried to download the whole install again fresh but that is something in the order of 40Gig, at the rate my internet flows it would take me a a week at least, I hate to think what the electricity bill would be for having the PC run continuously for the complete download so I am hoping there is a cure for this with what I already have installed. Hello Dauntless, as a rule I always turn off any mods using the JSGME before any update but the mods on is ticked and so far all updates worked, this is the first I ever had this issue with this particular series since it started up, ten years is ti now! I have tried changing log in but that changed nothing either. Anyway, I will give it a go with mods turned off and try and launch the analiser again to see what happens.
