Feldgrun Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 I've been haphazardly collecting many skins, and find I have far too many, and many I've never used. What is an easy way to view each of them, without having to switch between the view in IL-2 and my file? If they were all from HSD, it would be easy to view and delete, but they're not. I have GIMP, but trying to view the skins can be problematic as I'm not sure how to view them:
szelljr Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 ? Delete all !! Then go to HSD & download only what you like very much ... 2

PivoYvo Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 I´m sorry, but it seems to me, that there is no othter way, than switching and skipping between Programs and Windows as you do it now. I have no Gimp, but it looks like you have to switch in View Options, or something similar the Alpha channel to not show, this should take away the Grey Blur. I use the downloaded, Windows Texture Viewer, there you can watch the Skins and switch through them with the Mouse Wheel, or Arrow Buttons and delete on the Fly with the Erase Button, but watch out if you deleted one File, the Program jumps two pictures forward, or you go from the last one up to the first then this doesn´t happen.
Stonehouse Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 (edited) There is an IL2 skin viewer. Look in \IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\bin\viewer for viewer.exe however I can't remember whether there is an obvious link between the skin name in the viewer and the file name. <edit> was just able to check, filename seems to be given for custom skins in the load skin drop down.
