Spaz-505 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 (edited) This is a repost I made in the Ver 5001 release... I believe it belongs in this forum... I apologize for the duplicate post, want to make sure its in the correct place. I apologize if this is not in the right area to report, I struggle at times to place my comments in the appropriate location in the forums. First off, the Normandy Map is Awesome!!! Thank you and great work by the development team!!! I have a few comments to get me started with this map, just need better understanding of what we are working with. 1. The late airfields do not have any runways or taxiways, or even grass strip markings... they only show the structures placed around an open area without any indication of a working airfield. 1a. There are also "Land Command" MCUs at these airfields, that are not linked to anything so they show up as errors when validating. I found this already reported in the forum. 2. The fortifications have M272 guns placed inside, they appear only graphics and are non-functioning... no way to get them to activate and attack? Example the fortifications just west of Normandy beach head. Will this be coming in a future update? **Update** I got the fortifications to function properly. Don't understand what the issue was originally, no issue now. Found that they are indestructable, 1000lb bombs do not damage these fortifications. 3. The floating bridges at Normandy dont allow to place vehicles and artillery on them. The ships also like the fortification M272 guns appear only to be graphics, don't allow for activating or attack. Will this be coming in a future update so that landing can be simulated? Quite possible I am missing something, appreciate any feedback to help me better understand! Thanks Dave!!!
