Frequent_Flyer Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Hello All, I have been constructing SP missions on the new map. However, I cannot ( or I have not figured out) delete the city/towns, bridges and airfields that are not in close proximity and therefore not necessary to the mission. The past maps this was possible , freeing up resources to keep frame rates up. Any assistance would be a great help. Thank you in advance.
DD_Friar Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 You may need to set the cities as the working group. This should then make them accessible. You can then either drag a square around all the ones you want to remove or from the tree on the left hold ctrl and select all the ones you want. 1

The cities are organized in groups and subgroups. If you work in the tree then when you select an object (a house block) then the group to which it belongs become The Working Group, and you can decide to delete that group or the group above in the tree up to the main city group which has the city name. All the cities are in a cities group in the template that you have imported on the map. Unfortunately, we cannot delete or spawn blocks ingame. If we could do that then we could dynamically delete everything not visible by the player and have things spawned accordingly. You can fly all over the map in that case but still be optimal in terms of load and resources.
