Using full tank controls w pedals

So I decided to use my race pedals (cheap ones) to operate the throttle/brake/reverse.  But how since two separate axis are needed for forward and reverse respectively?  Well, I'm not even using a software to do this. I simply added some screws of which I can adjust forward/aft and managed to get it to work properly.  

 

Also, I will be making tank handles in a couple of days. So pretty much all I'll be missing is clutch and shifter but that's okay the immersion will be mind blowing.  This game deserves it. 

 

I wish the devs would consider giving forward and reverse their own axis but my mod does the trick. Below is a photo with the screws shown. I apologize for the quality.  Stay tuned for the track handle mod.

If you're on vr you owe it to yourself to drive like this or better if you can afford better equipment.  This is sooo much funnn

Doesn't that setup mean you either can shoot or turn the turret, but not both at the same time?

 

I like the idea though.
