Congrats! The feature list looks amazing.

 

Hearing about the map I'm now a bit more interested in a 1942 (or 1939-1940) Channel module at somepoint in order to reuse all the hard work. Although, the other options speculated about sound pretty fantastic.

 

The DM update sounds very good for those of us who like flying the I-16 or IAR-80... it'll be nice to have a little bit more effect with only light machine guns. The more vulnerable pilots will also benefit WWI. I'm really looking forward to testing all of this.

 

Anyway- fantastic work, with a lot of really lovely surprises!

Thank you guys, so, so... times 10 to the power of infinity... for releasing this. You guys faced many huge challenges since almost the very start, but that didn't stop you from continuing to make products and improve the game for us.

Unless I am mistaken, the last game I recall which included the D-Day -- the Channel Map with both Southern England and Normandy -- was CFS3, 20 years ago! Give yourselves a pat on the back as this is amazing.

 

Thank you so much for implementing this fixes. You guys rock and it shows us you never let the community down:

21. Aircraft DM: engine fire probability from bullet hits has been somewhat increased for WWI-era piston engines and jet engines.
22. Aircraft DM: engine fire probability from bullet hits has been reduced for WWII-era piston engines.
23. Aircraft DM: fuel tank fire probability from bullet hits has been reduced.
24. Aircraft DM: fuel tank fire and explosion probability from HE ammo hits has been reduced, now it depends on the HE power more.

27. Crew DM: a random error that could cause a death from mild G-loads has been found and fixed, thus improving survivability rate during emergency landings.

 

 I'll greatly look forward to flying over the Channel Map during D-Day.

Problem with download in Eastern US.  Speed is 150 and 300KBs.  At this rate will be updated in about a week if I am lucky!  Restarted and it want up to a more normal 70MBs but then quickly drops to very slow speed.  I have never had this issue before.

 

Issue resoved itself after a while and download speed returned to normal.

 

Map looks fantastic.  Love all the detail!

Be patient we have been waiting this 3 years  ...for me download speed varies from 100kb/s to 10MB/s
