Bf109Ace Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Hi All, Does anyone know if the feature in Options/ View/ Take Control..... works or not? If it does work, how does one set it up? I fly in FMB most of the time setting up missions and it will be very helpful to be able to continue flying after one has been shot down/ KiA'd. Thanks in anticipation
9./JG52_J-HAT Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 It works. In your realism options you need to enable it though. Then cycle through the aircraft while playing using CTRL+F2 / SHIFT+F2. When you are seeing the plane you want to control (flyable), press ALT+F1 and you should be in control. 2
Bf109Ace Posted October 11, 2022 Author Posted October 11, 2022 Hi 9./JG52_J-HAT, Tried your suggestion but as of to date no luck. In the realism options, (Aircraft Switching) which box/es need to be unticked? "Cannot Switch Positions", "Cannot Switch Planes" , or " Cannot Select Planes " or all? My settings are F3 [ your CTRL+F2? ] for External View - Cycle Friendly Aircraft and F4 [ your SHIFT=F2? ] for External View - Cycle Enemy Aircraft Then pressing Alt+F1 seems to have no effect. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks
Mysticpuma Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 "Cannot switch planes" - unticked Fly. Default keys Shift + F2 to change view to a friemdly Ctrl + F2 to change view to an enemy Once you find the flya Le you want to take charge of Alt+F1 Not 100% sure but I think you ha e to ha e external views enabled.. but not sure.
