6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Hi, since there has been a lot of development in the last 20 Years, has anyone with a valid License and Medical undergone such surgery?

I got PRK (older than the Lasik procedure) several years ago, best decision I ever made, still see 20/20. Absolutely no issues with the FAA with my license or medical.
Vishnu Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 (edited) I had PRK. 21 years ago. Same with me. Best decision of my life. No Regrets. I only wish I did it sooner. Edited September 23, 2022 by Vishnu
kissTheSky Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 I’ve been on some sort of vision correction for the last 42 years (yes I’m that old), but I’m ascared sh!tless of getting laser surgery. I do hate getting up in the morning and not being able to see anything until I put my contacts in, but still can’t see myself getting lasered.
Hoss Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Had lasic done back in 2005, I'm still 20/20... If I got pissed and put my glasses somewhere and forgot, I could not see well enough to find them.. need a seeing eye person to help... dominate right eye sees out far.. left eye is tuned for closer vision... I'm 65 so I still have to wear reading glasses for up close clarity... Hope that helps...
Chris65 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I have always thought of doing this, but I have had several eye doctors and all wear glasses, if lazik was so great don't you think the eye doctors would be first in line. And someone has to make up the 3% that have complications, and who wants to live with headaches, dry eyes and halos for the rest of their lives if you are the statistic? Glasses work for me.
