TrackIR question

I've set up a batch file to start IL2 GB recorder, track ir and IL2 so one double click and all I need starts up but I don't have to have the recorder and trackir on from windows startup. I'm finding that if I use launcher.exe in the batch file all is ok but if I want to skip over launcher and just go straight into IL2 using IL-2.exe in the batch file that while TrackIR starts, it doesn't pick up the fact that IL2 has started (ie no blue light on the sensor).

 

I assume that there is two possibilities - either Natural Point tied the launcher.exe to their software or something in launcher.exe tells TrackIR that IL2 is running. I've done some forum searches but with no success. Has anyone had the same issue? Has anyone found a way around it other than loading the IL2 profile in track ir exclusively?

 

I've tried coming at it from the other direction and searched for a way to load the IL2 profile when track ir starts from the command line but no luck there either.
