Something i dont understand - i think its a bug

 

I am building a map and i noticed suddenly my airfields was activatet from mission start

the should activate when a plane is near

this happend when i was building a AI QRF and i changed them from being activatet to spawned planes

 

Then i made a new empty kuban map with nothing else than one of my airfields and begin testing

This is the result.

Map 1:
Is working as supposed, the plane come to the airfield, the AAA activates and QRF and every thing is fine

Map 2:
Its the same map, but i place one spawn MCU and one Plane and object link them. nothing else just the 2, and its placed way out of the airfields proxcemity area.
but now the airfield activates at the beginning at the mission.

I hope some of you would try it out and see if this is correct or maybe its my logic?

I do not understand exactly your problem, but the Airfield entity is always active by default. If you want to have it inactive then you must use the MCU Deactivate command  otherwise it will stay active.

im sorry its not that clear what the problem is.
if this below dont make sense.

then i highlightet the one most importent thing with bold underline :)

 

The Airfield has AA guns, RRR truck and searchlight and landinglight

The are activatet by a proxcimity MCU and are working as the should in map.1
but in map.2 thers is 2 MCU more. one plane and one spawn MCU, no mission begin or anything connectet to them

and somehow this make my airfield go activatet fra mission begin.
(The Airfield in the map is for a MP map, thats why the red airfield is there and containing planes and taxi path)

 

i know i make NO SENSE that its like that

so i would like to see if there are something wrong on my end or if its a bug in the game.

 

i should be easy to confirm:

if any of you would load Map.2 in the game and start the mission

do you recive a green debug text in the first 5-10 seconds?

 

if you do, then open the mission in ME and remove the Red plane and Spawner and try the mission again, then the airfield is only activatet when a plane i near as in Map.1

 

That is how its acting here on my end

I hope this make it more understandable
or please ask/say ill try more to explain

I boiled it down to this logic
The error is both with proxcimity check and with check zones
this example is with proxcimity check.

 

Simple logic
activating when plane is near from both allies and german

This is the plane and spawner thats its not connect to the game and the plane is not active
and its allmost 10 km from the proxcimity check zone (the yellow ring is and attack zone set at same distance as the proxi check)
The blue plane is player plane and active from start

If i change the proxi check MCU with checkzones MCU i still have it all active from start and not when plane is near?
but when i remove the spawner and the red plane - it work like i should and how i know it from before

 

So i dont know if the game is buged? if not
can anyone tell my whats going on?

For the next update we've fixed some bugs with unspawned and inactive objects triggering checkzones and proximity checks, check up if it will solve your problem.

I can confirm that my main Map is working as supossed to again ?

This allmost made me crazy ?
