HELP! My game is no sound.

Today, I have absolutely no sound in game.

 I open my _sound_ file, I get these errors:

 

!!! ERROR m_pEventSystem->loadBankFile(1); '': Operation could not be performed because specified sound/DSP connection is not ready.
!!! ERROR m_pEventSystem->release(); '': An error occurred that wasn't supposed to.  Contact support.
!!! ERROR: Can not get event from event system for sound 'event:/main/GUI/Gui_Ambient' (#0)
!!! ERROR: Can not get event from event system for sound 'event:/main/GUI/Gui_Ambient' (#1)
!!! ERROR: Can not get event from event system for sound 'event:/main/GUI/Music_01' (#2)
!!! ERROR: Can not get event from event system for sound 'event:/main/GUI/Click_01' (#3)

And I restarting, no sound.I reinstall，no sound. Can anyone help me please!

You could try to rename the updates folder in your IL2-Great Battles folder.

Then start the launcher and have a coffee etc. Game files are then checked.

Do you have the Steam or standalone version of IL2? If you've got the Steam version, check the validity of the game files. If you have the standalone version, do as jollyjack says or if that doesn't work, re-install.

Thanks, my friend. I'm Steam. I checked the validity of the game files, and I changed the folder to reinstall the game. But it still has no sound.

Today, I open the game, start free flight and fire the gun, in the process it has no sound at all.

I uploaded my _sound_ file, please help me.

It probably is a windows thing then ... see if there's a sound chip or sound card not present or marked with a triangle in device manager.

 

The below file is meant as a windows 10 fixer, from Microsoft for windows 10,  run the cab file in the zip..

Alternative is download FixWin10.2.2 from the windows club or Major Geeks; careful what you fix with it.

OMG! I finally fixed it！

First, I changed the download region in Steam, and checked the validity of the game files. The sound came back！
