Charon Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 I've been flying a lot of co-op lately, and we prefer not to mix AI in with our own flight. This makes generating mission in advance hard: if I have fewer players than I expected (or if someone drops out with technical problems), I need to open the mission, delete the excess planes, and re-launch the server, all while everyone waits. It would be much more convenient if there was a way to disable these, either automatically or in an ad-hoc way. Then I could just populate the mission with 10 planes and any excess would go unused. Some options: * A "human-only" option in the AI selection menu (my preferred option). * Buttons in the lobby to toggle individual planes between AI and disabled. * A MCU trigger that could distinguish between AI and human planes. 3
Mtnbiker1998 Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Agreed, this would be a HUGELY useful feature for coop hosts.
J99_Sizzlorr Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 You could actually do this. I don't know if your coop mission starts in the air or at an airfield, but you could use complex triggers to count how many humen players spawn or take off at a certain airfield and then have the same amount or all of the AI planes deleted. When the mission starts mid air have a complex trigger where the player have to fly through and count the on "entered alive event" or "left alive event" with your complex trigger and then have the AI deleted.
