I posted a pic earlier in the thread that was deleted. It showed a more modern conflict where pre-teenage girls were scrawling messages on bombs, completely and absolutely de-humanising the human beings who were about to be blown to bits. 

Anyone who can't understand what's wrong with that is simply a psychopath.

Slogans on bombs and vehicles to give the enemy a black eye are still in use today by the US and many other nations. Thats war, unless you been there you will never understand. Civillians just have no clue and never will. I would replace "psychopath" with the words "morale boost" and "stress reliever".
