"No position data from user:" Error Message, and then I enter the shadow world????

While flying I get the No Postion data from user: ReddFoxx and then everyone disappears. I can still fly around on the map but cannot interact with or see any other players. If I land, i get credit for returning the plane. But my mission briefing shows as cancelled flight.

Does anyone know what's going on or how I can fix this. It seems to happen occasionally but is incredibly annoying.
