I'm the proud owner of the MFG Crosswind, but lately the board inside the device quit working.
Tested all cables and cleaned wherever it was due, still the Crosswind is nor "seen" either by windows (11) or the MFG software.
Until yesterday it worked all fine. Anyone of the more technical people inhere may know which board I should order and where, as MFG does not respond to any comms at all.

Odd I have always found Milan to be very prompt in correspondence. Best of luck on that one.

Same here. I've contacted him twice since I bought the pedals and the dampener and he always responded pretty quickly. His answers weren't always particularly helpful ("learn to fly the proper way!" ? ), but it's not like he's not reacting to customer inquiries.

Well, it's been 3 days now, still; nothing heard.
It may well be he's on a holiday or so.
Not being able to fly just makes you restless and you want to have it fixed asap.

This board, MFG SiMM8Rge, is custom made by MFG (or by order) with custom firmware, you can't just replace with similar board (e.g. BU0836A) because Crosswind pedals use Melexis Hall sensor, through serial protocol, not supported by L.Bodnar boards.

 

For  replace the controller board by another type, you maybe need replace the sensors, with the difficulties of physical implementation.

 

So be patient and await Milan response, Simundza is basically a "one man" business.  ;)

I'll wait and hope Milan has a great vacation (or holliday?) and when he's back I hope he will have these boards in store again.

Milan also has a contact page on his web site https://mfg-sim.com/en/contact-us

 

Some companies will look at messages sent via the website form mostly and less at stuff from the direct email address.

Also, since these channels are typically separate, it is possible that if there is a problem with them receiving communications, that either the contact form or the email wont be working.

Perhaps send one message via the contact form if you already used the email (or vise versa)

 

But perhaps he is away or just real busy.  He will get to you MFG are really helpful in my experience.

All is well. 

New board (+damper) arrived, installed and works all as advertised.
Happy camper once more.
