ghbucky Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 I used to have to advance the typhoon fuel mix to 'rich' and the throttle forward to get an engine start, then it was a requirement to return the mix to 'normal' to be able to advance the throttle past 10% I took a couple of weeks break and I am no longer able to interact with the fuel mix during engine start. It stays at normal throughout and neither my mapped control nor the keybinds make any changes. I thought that the 'rich' to normal settings were historically accurate on the aircraft? What happened?

Nothing changed as far as I know (flew the Typhoon yesterday). Make sure your difficulty settings haven't changed. It may be set to automatic engine control. 2
Jade_Monkey Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Nothing has changed with the Typhoon controls since it was launched, there are only three mixture settings: Start Normal Cut out You need to set it forward (start) for the engine to start. Once you start the engine, you won't be able to move the throttle forward unless you bring back the mixture to the middle position (Normal). If you are already doing that, check that your mappings are working since the last mapping profiles release. 1
ghbucky Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 Hmmm... I typically fly on a MP server. I guess something has changed there. Thanks for confirming.
