Turret Controls don't work except for Quick Mission 'One on One' Tank

After the update (4.707c) I can successfully setup my tank turret movement controls and primary/secondary guns with either mouse or joystick but it only works with the 'one-on-one' quick mission for tanks, not with the multi-tank quick mission or the single tank one. Likewise the problem persists also with user created and stock tank missions, though I have no problem with any of the key bindings etc. for aircraft. I am on Steam and have deleted and redownloaded the program as well as cleared the cache and tested file integrity etc. and nothing corrects this.  Anyone else have this problem with tank missions or any potential ideas for a solution? Thanks.

indeed, it's quite strange that you only have control of the turret in certain mods of the game... you say that it works in the 1vs1 mod... does it work in the other game mods (which does not work not), your tank is part of a squad of several?

Yes it is very odd. Actually after years of running IL2 from Stalingrad on this is the first time that I've had a bug. It seems like it won't work on the quick missions which would involve more tanks than 1 on 1, whether in Quick mission or in the stock and user-created tank missions (where there would be multiple tanks). Likewise it does not work in the tank practice missions-where you have multiple targets. It doesn't seem to be a memory issue because I have no problem with aircraft. I have a 4 GB dedicated Nvidia card running on i7 processors. They are older (from 2016-17) but I don't get interrupted video flow at low or balanced settings. My FPS is usually 50-60 and my specs are:

The curious part also is that none of the settings is impacted for any aircraft missions and even in the other tank missions I can do everything (accelerate, maneuver, open hatches, switch position etc etc) except move the turret and fire either the main or MG. This only started with the new update so maybe it is a bug that will be corrected with the soon to be coming Normandy add on? I hope so.

Received a reply from Support who told me to delete the data/input files and restart, so it works ok now with default settings as well as my changing the key mapping.
