Stonehouse Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) Note this is experimental and not something that is officially supported in PWCG. So do not trouble Pat with any problems you have with it, instead let me know and if I can fix it I will. Pat has more than enough on his plate already. If I can't fix it then it will just have to wait until Pat adds tactical codes for the Mossie in an official PWCG release. That said if you are doing a Mossie campaign or about to start one give this a go and see if it works for you. It certainly seems to be working fine for me. Set up as a JSGME mod so you can enable or disable it easily without stuffing up your existing PWCG 13.11.0 install. It assumes that you have installed PWCG into your IL2 GB folder and that the PWCG folder is named PWCGBoS. It uses the stock default skin for the Mosquito and adds tactical codes in red for 4 Squadron. I haven't checked exhaustively but I believe this is the only Bodenplatte Mosquito squadron. Obviously you would not be configuring custom skins for the squadron but rather just let PWCG assign the "squadron default" skin. Assuming this works ok, Pat please feel free to take the file changes into PWCG. If it helps you that would be great even if it is only to save you 5 mins. Updated to include Me410 and III/ZG26 (they get Me410 eventually mid 1943 so not sure about other maps but a Bodenplatte attack career for III/ZG26 gives you the Me410) PWCG Mosquito & Me410 Tac codes.zip Edited August 15, 2022 by Stonehouse 1 1
Majpalmer Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I have a question that those of you familiar with the PWCG maybe able to answer. Let's say the generator assigns me a flight of two aircraft. If I add another pair to make the total four, does the generator change what it would have had flying on the other side to compensate, or do I end up with the extra aircraft and the number of EAs remain unchanged? Thanks.
Stonehouse Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Mission generation doesn't happen until after the point of assigning friendly aircraft so there certainly is an opportunity for it to leave it right until the point of generation to determine the number of directly involved enemy aircraft even if the ambient ones were set earlier. Only Pat could advise you for sure. 1
