Good to hear that Lenovo continues in the VR device market. They were manufacturing the RiftS for Oculus and now they go on their own.

Let´s see if they incorporate a proper DP cable or they will rely on wifi for PC-VR games.

No interest on my end for a Quest 2 clone. At least it will be a headset sans Meta requirements. Lenovo was on their own prior to the Oculus partnership with the Explorer, an early WMR headset. Got overshadowed by the Samsung Odyssey a little later. Then they did the partnership with Oculus, after which Oculus hung them out to dry.

I myself do not necessarily equate Lenovo with high quality, I hope they do well though with the offering as more competition is a good thing. I would rather see the competition in the native PC-VR department.

I will wait for the reviews, but No Meta requirement has me interested.  Price point matters as well. I am fine with a cable if it means better performance.

 

I think that the Samsung HMD Odyssey+ is discontinued?

Hate to see all of this going down the Questie route...

Although with this Lenovo offering seems to be more enterprise focused rather than gaming.

Easy to conflate the two I guess.
