dgiatr Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 (edited) Hello to all members! In order to fly straight line at about 250 mph IAS with SPITFIRE XIV version I have to use about 10%-15% positive (+) Neutral Point Pitch movement of the newly designed Custom input profile feature. With that setting, while elevator stick is in the middle position (zero movement) pitch trim is about zero. Is that normal or am i doing something wrong? I fly only wwii planes not wwi and i fly with zero neutral point pitch movement in all the other wwii warbirds... Thank you in advance! Edited August 12, 2022 by dgiatr
DD_Fenrir Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Spitfire's have unequal elevator travel; there is greater up elevator deflection (28°) than down (23°). This doesn't corelate to nearly all spring tensioned physical joystick game controllers as they have equal fore aft displacement limits.
