czech693 Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Today I found my joystick pitch was working backwards. I change it to "invert" but that made no difference. There are several new items on the controls screen. The response curve on the right hand side has a "P" on the curve image, and at the bottom of the Plane Controls screen is a button labeled Pitch Response which takes you to the pitch response window. There are no other buttons for Roll or Yaw. In the pitch response window there is all kinds of different things on the bottom apparently to create a new control setup with a specified name . Roll and Yaw responses are the same and not changed. I have not tried to use the new control system to assign specific controls to individual aircraft. Sim is un-usable at this point. Tested the joystick in ROF and it works perfectly. So, any idea what is going on?
jollyjack Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Can it be plane related, as with the new various setups possible you could have selected a buggy one. (or one only meant for upside-down stunt flying?? ).
czech693 Posted August 12, 2022 Author Posted August 12, 2022 Well, after playing around with it for another half day; changing out the input file for a saved one; and running DISM and sfc; all with no luck, I put the input file it created yesterday back in and used the button to return to default key settings, and redid all the input key settings and now it appears to be working. It still has a "pitch" entry and a "global" entry in the input file even though I never tried to input modified pitch data.
Crocogator Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 I've also noticed this "P" on the elevator curve. I'm interested to know what that means.
