Blackswan Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Steam VR can bite the big one! I've heard that OpenXR is SteamVR's alternative but I'm clueless on where to begin. I have the Reverb G2 and was wondering if there is a video that goes step by step using Reverb G2 as the example on going to OpenXR. I have been on the website that made OpenXR but am unsure what to download, where to install...the whole nine yards. Any help from fellow pilots would be greatly appreciated.
Goffik Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 There is quite literally a step-by-step guide on installing and using the OpenXR Toolkit... on the website. If you're unable to follow it, then perhaps messing with this stuff isn't your forte? https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/

This thread should be a good starting point: It also links to a thread on the DCS forum with more details. Just be sure to use the most recent instructions (ie NOT for OpenCompositeACC but for the OpenComposite OpenXR branch). 1 1
