Blitzen Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Generally I’m happy with input settings that I have gotten used to over the years ,but I do have several small problems I’d like to see if input profile settings might solve. I have wild “swings” on take off with Ju-88’s, Mosquito, and Hs-129s.I have tried nearly every technique to get them off the ground but generally end up “in the ditch..” First is there a rudder or trim setting that might solve this and if so how would I go about doing so? ( No problems with the new & beautiful Me-410 which handles just as well as the Bf110 on takeoff.)
R33GZ Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Not sure about the 88 and mossie, but the duck I find you need to keep back pressure on the stick, advance the throttle slowly and play the brakes untill you get enough ground speed for rudder authority to take over directional control.
