Me-410 Gunsight!!!

I see gunsight but no reticle in sight, regardless of weapons selection. What am I missing?

Raise or lower the seat. There are multiple types of sights, set at different heights, in the 410, so looks like you have to setup your seat for each sight.

I think the game saves the head position in just one place, regardless of what sight you are using. So you have to adjust it to fit the sight.

For the telescopic sight use  Shift+V to aim down the sight.

When you have bombs and the aircraft carries the Stuvi sight, I think the head position is setup, by default,  for the dive bombing reticle, not the shooting reticle.

That was it!!
Thanks for a very quick response. And, yes ,head position as to be adjusted for each sight.

Is there any default command to place the right sight with the different gunsights ?

I'd not yet attempted the new device for dividing the keys  for each plane....

A medium position " by defaut " either for head or for sight could be great help to try the new bird   ( a real wonder otherwise !!!)

I don't make much realistic or complicated flights...so basic easy commands will probably make me happy for a while....

Thanks for help,

You’ll have to make an adjustment every time for each gun sight, at least for now. If you use trackIR:

1. Disable trackIR.

2. Adjust seat with page up/down keys until sight is centered

3. Press F10 to save this view

4. Enable trackIR.

I'm using opentrack and I'm doing what you said but without disabling opentrack. I hold Num5 (reset view) and while holding doing step 2 and 3 then releasing Num5. Try if it's works for you guys.

Hello All,

Not using track IR,  for basics  Pages Up/Down works OK .... then F10,

Works well but after sharp turns, ( or firing rockets ???  ), the sight is lost and must be reajusted by Page up/down ....?

Unfortunately the suggestions don't work for me.

After reactivating TrackIr the sitting position is lost again.

Why weren't the different sights centered by default?

What is the reason for offering all visors in different seating positions?

I think the game doesn't have a system for tying a default head position to a given weapon mod, as there aren't really many before this that have removed one sight and replaced it with another in a dramatically different position.

TrakIR user.

For me the Stuvi and ZFR4 are OK.

The Revi is too high, but can be centred with F10, (also my screenshot key), or F12 low and sit up.

F10

You have to disable head tracking first.

Or you can hold down your center head key and get your pilots head where you want it then hit F10 to save.

Looks like people have solutions provided.
Personally I never had this issue though.
I use the default positions for every plane, with a slight adjustment in open track to move my head up and forward.

By any chance is your default head position off centre of the scope for 109s?
In that case you must have deleted your default head positions.
To solve it open up the folder for head positions.
Inside it theirs a folder with default head positions.
If you copy past those into the main folder that will give you head positions that are lined up with the scopes for planes.
If you delete all the (default) head positions (so your not using default config) then your pilots head position will default to pure cockpit/plane centre - something VR users make use off - or people who just want to have to lean right to use the 109 scope.

I recommend you don't use that normal german sight at all on it
