ME-410 advanced QMB.

I don't know if this is a feature that's coming with the new map, or not, but anyway....

Can we get some intercept bomber/transport missions in the advanced QMB, for the Me410, please.

All the heavy canons are loaded with HE shells only, to use against bombers, but we have no bomber intercept missions.

Thx.

My thoughts exactly.?

It'd also be good to have some high speed recon missions in AQMB someday :)

But I'd also be happy with more varied anti-shipping target templates.

Honestly, the AQMB feature has really increased my overall sense of satisfaction - I do hope they keep developing it.

This method appears to work although other than adding the entries and checking the mission type appears in AQMB I haven't had time to test it much.

So at present my version of aqmplanes.txt has had the stuka ground support lines added plus the below bold lines in the Me410 section

&luascripts/worldobjects/planes/Me410A1.txt=
missionId,
        weaponmodCombination,
                    PayloadID,
                            altMin,
                                    altMax,
                                            altStep,
                                                    missionAvailable, availableOnScg|
101,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
102,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
103,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|

201,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
202,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
203,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
204,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
205,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
301,    1,        2,        500,    1500,    250,    1,                    "2"|
405,    1,        2,        500,    1000,    250,    1,                    "2"|

Seems like the weaponmod combinations are found in info.txt in \swf\il2\worldobjects\planes\me410a1 but still investigating it so just copied the existing lines and altered the mission type id. This means you have to set up the modifications etc before starting the mission.

<edit> actually I think the weaponmod combos might be the string you see in the mission editor after picking a set of modifications.

Confirmed this morning that it is the values from the editor. Flew a mission where we had to intercept A20s with a small Spitfire IX escort who were trying to bomb targets near Wassenberg. Had no issues.

I've set up the default loadout for intercepts as below in the aqmplanes.txt file

Yeah you have to ungtp swf.gtp.

Save you the trouble plus it gives you an updated version of Rieper_420's Ju87 AQMB mod. If you don't like the default loadout I picked for the Me410 you just need to go into the mission editor, place a Me410 and then pick the modifications etc and take note of the weaponmod number and payload number and then update aqmbplanes.txt for the Me410 to match the numbers from the editor. Attached is set up for JSGME use

I just wish the skin and loadout options you have selected for your plane would carry over to your AI wingmen in AQMB.
