il2 stuck downloading client

hi all, this is what ive been greeted with when i opened the launcher to download the new update, anyone know what the fix is ?, its stuck at 0, and hasnt moved in the last 10ish minutes

i now cannot uninstall the game since the uninstaller gets stuck. 

2022 *** and yet both your installer and uninstaller are broken, and you lot have the audacity to ask 50-100$ for a dlc? **** unbelivable

Sneaksie has a dev post that they are migrating the system over and it may affect some systems. It’s even on the front page still. My system was affected for a couple of hours.

Same issue for me. Happened yesterday when I launched and still a problem today. Any luck Boganism? Agreed, pretty unimpressed.

i cannot update to the 5.002 update either. i tried all the fixes and the update keeps breaking in random points or freezing for hours on end

im stuck in the launcher too, sice days. on my harddrive is plenty of space (258gb)

- Try to delete what is in the updates file : "IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\updates"

- Restart your launcher

Launcher freezes every time, after a while, when i try to install the game (see screenshot)

i have tried it on different hard disks (953GB free space), deleted update folder, reset router etc... nothing helps. 😞
Since I got my new computer, I can no longer install IL-2.
I have no such problems with any other games or launchers.

I can't believe how bad this software is and not one person from the company responds to this issue ever! This game constantly needs to download another 3.68Gb when there was no update! What the hell is it downloading all the time?? Calling it "downloading" is a stretch as well when it tries to download at kbps speed!! No it is not my system or my internet. Just downloaded a patch for another game that required 60Gb download and it was done in 1 hour!

I'm sure you guys will just ignore this like you have all the other posts about this issue.

 

P.S. No, deleting the downloads folder does nothing except extend the time as the game then takes forever (or gets stuck) trying to analyze it's own files. Then if it somehow makes it past that, right back to the same old 3.68 download at kbps speed.

But there was an update... game is more than 100Gb so 3.68 is not much. Also, as they said, there's an issue with the Amazon service

 

Think I got all the speed... 😄
