BladeMeister Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 My Mother flew in the same 1941 Stearman that I flew in a few years back and she was in her mid 80s. It was a bit of a chore cramming her in there and then the pilot took her up into the North Georgia mountains and they did a bit of ridge and valley running and she had a blast. She told the pilot she didn't want to come down on there return trip, so he flew here around another 15 minutes LOL. She definitely loved it as did i on my aerobatics flight. Open cockpit, a loud radial engine and the whistle of the wind through the wires and all around you is very therapeutic and highly recommended. S!Blade<>< 1
AndyJWest Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Back in May 1910, Orville Wright took his 82 year old father Milton up for a flight: "Higher, Orville. Higher!"
