Hi all,

I know what I am about to ask is blasphemy in the world of flight sims, but I just wanted to know if / how I can have a view that is literally just a static dot in the middle of the screen, no cock pit etc. The closest I got was a dot, but then with another dot too that moved based on turning rate.

Thank you.

You need to be more specific about what your problem is.

Are you able to run the game?

Are you able to fly the aircraft?

Is your complaint the fact the aircraft are difficult to see?  If that is the case, then you have the option to add label tags on enemy or friendly aircraft which make them easier to see.

In full realism mode, yes, it is difficult to see enemy aircraft, this is because the game is designed as a simulation... and therefore the real challenges of spotting aircraft, something which was experienced by all novice pilots, is present in the game.

If you practice a lot, learn to systematically scan the sky, you will find your ability to spot enemies improves.

You can also reduce your screen resolution... which makes the dots bigger and easier to see.

Or, if you go to a larger size monitor, then that will also help you to spot contacts more easily.

Have you tried Ctrl+F1? It‘s wonder woman view. You will get a few things on your screen still but afaik it‘s the closest you will get to a crosshairs only view.

Make sure you habe this setting properly configured under realism settings (no cockpit view I think it‘s called).
