Early November 1941, IV/JG 51. The poor people of Inyutino are cursed with our presence. I'm sure they'll be happy when we are soon thrown back. 

 

The airstrip, used at the start of the Typhoon campaign by the Soviets, appears to still be there in 2022.

What exactly are we supposed to be looking at there?

I’m trying to pick out an airfield there - but not so much. Is it to the right of the photo?

Er…I mean left.

Looks like the road / path along the bottom third of the picture is a match with the road marked A-108 on the map.

The SE face of the AF.

Nah, that's a larger paved road.
