Tonester Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Hi all…when flying VR one must have a very good memory for where which buttons for what controls lie, especially in my case as i have a Warthog, 2 saitek quads, 1 CH quad, a saitek multi and radio panel, and a saitek yoke and believe it or not i use at least something on each peripheral in every sim. In DCS i made up controller maps and added them to the kneeboard so i can just bring them up when needed to see what button i need to press and i dont have to remove my headset or alt tab out of the sim. In IL2, as far as i am aware, one can only add a very small photo to the cockpit however that is way way too small for my needs. Is there some kind of overlay one can use to show something pop up in the sim, like in the way the map does? Any suggestions…???

Or is that not possible and i will have to just have a kneeboard crammed full of different pdfs for different aircraft and flick through them all to find the one im after? firdimigdi Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Sadly it only has automation hooks for DCS, for all other sims/games it's manual mode only. You can either concatenate/merge some PDFs in to groups that make sense for you, make images of cheatsheets and put them in a folder or indeed have a tab for each plane you fly; whichever works for you.
