From ATAG_Pattle:

Hi All,
Much work from the team is going into the implementation of various cloud types into the Cliffs of Dover Blitz/Desert Wings Tobruk TrueSky weather engine.
Eight cloud types, along with vary cloud levels, will bring different experiences and challenges to players.
The varying types will be:
Altostratus
Cirrocumulus
Cirrus
Cumulonimbus
Cumulus
Nimbostratus
Stratocumulus and
Stratos
We hope you enjoy this first look at these cloud types, which will be featured  further in an upcoming video.
Regards,
TFS Team

I absolutely did enjoy it Riley, the above screenshots are awesome! DCS and the Great Battles series did improve their clouds and now it's time the Dover series does the same. The following question has been asked by a fellow player in these forums: will these future clouds cast shadows on the ground? We don't see their shadows in the screenshots (WiP only?).

Maybe a kind of Oort cloud, too high to shadowing.

Even if not too high, Oort shadows are headed in the wrong direction. ?

Best to address this question head-on and not let it hang fire.

There will be shadows for the clouds...  we are working on the shaders and until those are finalized, there is no point in presenting temporary cloud shadows which are purple or green.
