G'day chaps,

I've just come back to il2, and since I last played I bought some Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals. I've gone into the settings to set them up, where they are detected by il2 just fine (Joystick 13 - axis_z or something), however they don't work in the axis adjustment screen, and they don't work in sim.

In the realism settings, I haven't got rudder assist on, but I do have autopilot enabled. I've tried restarts, changing USB ports, calibrating in windows and can't figure it out.

I've only been flying quick missions, but I'm not sure if there's a setting or something obvious I'm supposed to change, or if I need to do a reinstall or something tedious like that.

Anyone with a brain who can assist would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same rudder pedals and have the same problem as you.  They work in other flight sims, like Aces High 3, so this does not seems to be a Windows thing and seems more specific to IL-2.  Please let me know if you figure this one out!  Thanks.

Lots of people use the TPR pedals with IL-2, so the issue is something else. BoX does have a limit on peripherals, 8 I think. So if you are over that limit, you cannot use additional peripherals. There are some workarounds you can find in the Hardware folder. Most of the hardware problems are machine specific and not addressed by the moderators here in the bug report area. I would search there and maybe ask a mod to move this thread over there.

I got it working now.  Oddly, I cannot figure out what I exactly did to get it to work... lol
