19 Squadron RAF was stationed in the UK after the outbreak of the Second World War, and was part of No. 12 Group RAF, RAF Fighter Command, during the Battle of Britain.  19 Squadron formed part of the Duxford Wing, 12 Group's 'Big Wing' formation. Later versions of Spitfires were flown until the arrival of Mustangs for close-support duties in early 1944.  After D-Day, No. 19 briefly went across the English Channel before starting long-range escort duties from RAF Peterhead for Coastal Command off the coast of Norway.

QV-A    FZ190  Conflicting Pilot information.

QV-E     Serial number and pilot unknown.  I substituted a QV aircraft whose code was unknown to honor a downed pilot.  FZ141 Pilot William Wendt, age 28.  While on patrol on 7 June 1944 supporting the Normandy landing his plane was hit by flak near Caen, France.  He was able to bale however it is assumed his parachute did not deploy fully.

I have updated all of the skins.  The exhaust hoods have been removed as they were not in the photo, weathering has been enhanced, and camo lines have been corrected in certain areas.  The new download link is available in the OP.  The file names are the same and will overwrite the old skins.

19 RAF Mustang MkIII (P-51B) Historic Skin Pack - Mid-1944

I have created Mid-1944 skins (underwing and lower fuselage invasion stripes) for the 19 RAF planes in the OP.  The mid-1944 skins are based on the photo of QV-A FZ190 taken in Ellon, Normandy.  I estimate the photo as being taken probably in the latter part of July or early August 1944.  This is based on the removal of upper invasion stripes 30 days after D-Day and that 19 Squadron briefly went across the English Channel before starting long-range escort duties from RAF Peterhead.  QV-A's skin reflects the partial invasion stripes but all others have them fully removed.  Blank camo skins are also included.

19 RAF Mustang MkIII (P-51B) Historic Skin Pack D-Day Invasion Stripes

The Battle of Normandy will soon be officially released and I wanted to complete the full set of skins for the 19 Squadron RAF.  So I created the D-Day skins (full invasion stripes) for the 19 RAF planes listed in the OP.

I have not been able to find actual wartime photographs of the 19 RAF in full invasion stripes.  As a result I had to use other sources to guesstimate their appearance.  The photo of QV-A FZ190 taken in Ellon, Normandy in July/August 1944 with partial invasion stripes was helpful.  It appears the stripes were fairly neat and probably applied with a paint sprayer.  Two blank camo skins are also included for use with the in-game fuselage lettering ability.
