Fokker D.VIII availablity

Are the Fokker.DVIIIs available in August 1918 in PWCG, or only at the end of the war?

I believe they are not available until October.

Ah, so the couple of weeks or so of service before they were recalled due to the wing failures isn't included then.

No.  I could make a change to the introduction date to set it back to August.  Squadrons still would not be equipped with them but it would allow the player to fly one via equipment request.

Fokker DRI would be another candidate for this treatment.

Yes.  By that time there is a good chance that the player is a top ace as well.  What's nice about this mechanism is that it is not foisted on the player in the form of odd planes appearing in a career.  A player can use it or not as they see fit.
