56RAF_Roblex Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 I will get thoroughly flamed for suggesting you try a game with millions of subscribers and daring to have fun playing it but if you want to see it for yourself and make up your own mind then do it now via Roberts Space Industries | Follow the development of Star Citizen and Squadron 42 You will be able to try out about ten different ships all this week without paying a penny. If you like it and want to buy into the game then use the code STAR-YDYV-56JM when signing up to also get given a two seater armed hover bike for free (only if you sign up this week ie before Monday 18th) Contrary to scare stories about paying thousands of pounds, it costs as little as £39 and there is absolutely no need to pay anything more to have full access to everything in the game. 1
AndyJWest Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 I think you'd have a little more credibility if you didn't use the forum to plug your own personal referral code. What Roblex gains if you use it: https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013102847-Referral-Program-FAQ 1 1 1
Guest deleted@188321 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 I started in SC after the last Free to Fly event and have had a pretty good time. Great and helpful community, generally mature and the scale of the existing star system is pretty impressive. 19 hours ago, AndyJWest said: I think you'd have a little more credibility if you didn't use the forum to plug your own personal referral code. Thad Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 (edited) How close are they to providing the 100 star systems promised before game completion? How close are they to completing the Single Player Squadron 42? I only ask because I have supported since 2012. Believe me.... there are valid reasons for all the complaints or as you put it, mud-slinging. It has been earned. I turn 73 years old this year with failing health. I may actually not live to see the completion of this venture. It saddens me. Edited April 3, 2023 by Thad 1

The mud slinging I am referring to is Roblex being criticized for posting his referral code. Calm thyself, old timer. Thou doth protest too much and too often.
AndyJWest Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 If the referral code matters so little, Why has Roblex posted it to the forum on four different occasions? https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/search/?q=STAR-YDYV-56JM&quick=1
Guest deleted@188321 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Here's a better question... Why do you think it matters so much?
simfan2015 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 (edited) https://massivelyop.com/2023/03/13/star-citizen-remains-offline-as-issues-related-to-alpha-3-18-escalate-the-problem-to-a-major-outage/ Back down to earth. Your space sim is finally declared dead in the water (or space). Il-2 GB and Clod are a Godsend compared to the SC scam! Edited March 14, 2023 by simfan2015
Gambit21 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Wait…no…no….no, you don’t understand. They’ve been putting recourses into the all-important matter of AI eating behavior, and before that sleeping/blanket deformation and rigs. 1
simfan2015 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Each Star Citizen free weekend I have been contemplating to try this scam of a game... For free. What Kept me from doing so is the fear of getting hooked and pouring quite a bit of money into SC scam schemes hoping it to become something it is not...like so many poor souls. 1
Gambit21 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 I was originally just wanting Squadron 42. Now I won’t buy it even if it does see the light of day. 3
kestrel79 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Has their been anything on Squadron 42? I'm still waiting. It still seems so buggy to play why bother.

Gambit21 Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 Blanket deformation tech everyone - and AI eating behavior. It’s going to be amazing. ….and I have played it. Yawn
Guest deleted@188321 Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 It astounds me that people come up with sardonic responses asserting things that don't exist or aren't an actual focus and expect their critique to be taken seriously. Especially grown men.
AndyJWest Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Things that don't exist: Squadron 42 Almost all the other content Chris Roberts has concocted while shilling his space-shooter game Any hope of this thing ever being finished....

Especially grown men. Well you have not shown much grown upness in your previous posts yourself. I bought the most expencive ship available in the beginning. About 120$ We talk years back. I am in no way in an emotional state regarding this game. I just found this to be a fraud after some years and never looked back. Because we who bought back then got scammed . It is no way around it. And now you expect people to take this seriously?
Hanu Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 I have some fond memories of Star Citizen. The best I remember some years ago when even less than normal was heard of them and a development roadmap was cried out loud... To quell the criticism CIG/RSI relased a roadmap for the roadmap. I almost crapped my pants when laughing. 2

MisterSmith Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 This is generally mud slinging on a third party game. Whether the criticism is earn or not, locked. Smith
