Steam account name

My Dad has bought BoS on Steam. I think when we set the game up first we skipped a step by accident because his player name in-game is Player856347563789534956357894 or something like that.

I have the game on standalone so it works differently for me, is there any way that we can change his display name? I would have thought it'd just pick up his Steam account name.

Thats generic name for steam only players, only way for them to change nick is to register on this forum, link their steam acount to acount they registered here and then you change names here and it changes it in steam. Search on forum on how to link steam acounts if you wont to do that.

Do you mean create an account in the store rather than the forum? If I look on my account I can't see a "link to Steam" option other than the one under the license key page to activate a Steam key, is that the right place and does that have to be done for everything he has on Steam (BoS, BoK and the Hurricane)?

Thanks, I think that covers it. He's already looged in with steam so if I understand it right then he'll have to make an IL-2 account and then click his username in the menu to bring up the prompt to link them?
