There are some leaks and predictions about the future Quest Pro, nothing official yet:

https://sadlyinreality.com/the-final-meta-quest-pro-analysis/

- 2160x2160 per eye resolution but only uses 1800x1920 (so like current Quest2)

- Price 1500$

- Release 25-Oct-2022

With that resolution definetely not for me, even if the FOV is better that Index which I doubt. Let´s wait for Deckard then. Or an Aero with better FOV.

I don't think Zuck knows what he wants Cambria to be quite yet, and more importantly the board maybe is not so sure of this at all. And he wants Quest 2 users who are used to the cheaper device to pay that kind of price for a supposedly improved Pro version? Right...

Quite happy with my current Aero. Many hours of gaming bliss. Sadly my Index now sits alone in a corner, I really need to sell it now. Along with my Vive Pro 2. I will admit to a bias on my end though, nothing with the Meta or Oculus name will ever reside on my PC again. At least as long as there remain to be better options out there.

Deckard it is then, that resolution is way too low - unless it was OLED, then I'd be on board happily.

I just can't go back to wired connectivity or smaller FOVs though.
