FTC_Riksen Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Posted to No. 401 Squadron RCAF in February 1943, F/O Jack Sheppard operated the clipped wing Spitfire coded YO-A with its rather racy bit of nose art between July to October 1943 before the squadron converted to Spitfire Mk. IXs. F/O Jack Sheppard scored 5 confirmed air victories, all on Fw-190s, during his WW2 career before being being shot down and evading capture in August 1944 as Commanding Officer of No. 412 Squadron RCAF.
