Rjel Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 (edited) Unfortunately, unless whatever magic that is used by the sim that allows the beautiful NMF of the P-51s, P-38J and P-47D-28 is available for more airplanes, your skin will always have the dull silverish grey color. It was one of the reasons I gave up skinning a NMF P-47D-22. Hoping whatever switch that is needing to be turned on, does get turned on for all skins. I'm not sure why some do and some don't. It really adds a touch of realism to the A/C that feature it. Edited July 5, 2022 by Rjel spelling
jollyjack Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Must be in hidden some texture file then? If you rad about metal glare in Photoshop tutorials it's about emboss an Gaussian blurs etc. https://dwphotoshop.com/how-to-create-metallic-and-glow-effect-on-photoshop/

AFAIK the alpha channel is interpreted by the material applied to each plane. So if the material defined for the specific plane (in the game, beyond our control) is not reacting to the alpha channel values to produce the NMF shader effect there's not much to be done.
