J2_Spaeher-Fw Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 (edited) Helmet off for prayer I was just on the phone with Nordseefischer's wife and I'm heartbroken to tell you that Fischi passed away last Monday and his last flight didn't bring him home. Cancer is a bastard and didn't fight fair. Nordseefischer has been a friend and comrade (Navy) of mine. He taught me a lot about flying and was very patient with me. It was just incredibly fun with him. Away from flying, we talked about everyday things, like being a father, having a husband, etc. I will miss the conversations with him very much. Here's a prayer almighty god, we stand helpless in the face of the death of our loved ones. It's hard for us to understand and affirm your plans. Death is immutable But you sent your son and gave him up for us. Therefore neither tribulation nor distress can Yes, not even death can separate you from your love. Keep in us this faith and bring our dead to new life.
