I no longer have my CH MFP, but I still use my CH Fighterstick and Throttle Quadrant, and use Windows 10.

Before I launch IL-2 I always launch Control Manager 4.55 and change to Off mode, then open my IL-2 .map file and download it so that Control Manager changes to Mapped mode. I then exit Control Manager and IL-2 then recognizes everything after I launch it. Way back in my Rise of Flight days when I also had a CH MFP the above worked fine.

Very occasionally in mid-flight I will discover that my controls are no longer recognized by IL-2, so I have to alt-tab out of the game to repeat the above steps, then alt-tab back into IL-2 to regain control of my aircraft.

ive been using mine for years but only a week ago did it stop working.  I can still get my throttle and pedals to work but its the mfp I’m having trouble with.  I tried joystick gremlin but it wont see the mfp. I guess my next try will be joy2key. Ive had problems in thepast with il2 not liking my mfp.  I will give your idea a try fist tho.  Thanks

This "MFP" appear in Windows Game Controllers (joy.cpl)?

If not a external keymapper like JoyToKey, Joystick Gremlin will not help.

So you can only program the keys with CH Manager, that have quirks for work with Windows 10, see related posts there.

I do know that when I had a CH HOTAS set up it always told me in the CH manager to plug in the MFP last, after CM was loaded and turned on. Then it was good to go from then on.  CH just like TARGET you need to turn on HOTAS software and choose your profile before you start the game. The Input folder's device.txt will try to change if you don't.

Cheers

I just received in the mail a brand new factory sealed CH MFP with buttons 1-25 today.  Worked in Great Battles right out of the box.  Just connected it to the power four port hub with my Fighter Stick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals.  I then just added it to my existing Great Battles profile in the CH Control Manager and downloaded the profile to my four devices and I no longer accidentally shut of my engine in flight by brushing against a joystick button. ☺️
