"Failed to Update" error after transfering to new SSD

Hi Gents,

 

Copied my entire game folder over from an HDD to a new SSD, receive "Failed to Update" error on load / internet connect screen. Flight Records, startup, inputs, settings etc all fine, just cannot make the internet handshake.

 

Any ideas here? What am I missing?

Does the SSD have the same drive letter as your previous HDD?

No; I changed the new SSD to a different drive letter.

 

I also changed the shortcut to go to the new SSD letter.... It says "checking version"..., then "failed to update"

reinstall over the one you changed should work.

Mastiff, can u walk me through that real quick? I assume there's an .exe file I find from within the transferred game folders?

Solved? Go the Launcher.exe, right click it - properties and check the Launcher.exe for drive letter and game location.
