wiscstar Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 I'm experincing graphics stutter in single missions but not in quick missions. This has only just now started. Before, the single missions ran just fine, but now they're a bit jerky. Any suggestions out there?

As mentioned, if you can post your system specs and settings, that would be best. Also, have you looked at the 'Getting Started and Troubleshooting Guide'? It is available in multiple languages and is located in your main CLIFFS OF DOVER install folder in the 'manuals' folder.
wiscstar Posted July 2, 2022 Author Posted July 2, 2022 (edited) Windows 10 Pro, Build17763, system RAM 8192 MB, Video RAM 4092 MB, DirectX-12, Processor 3GHz IS it possible that the latest update has screwed it up? Edited July 3, 2022 by wiscstar
zzzxxxxzzz Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 You should be more specific, what model of GPU? What CPU model? It has happened to other people that the operating system (or I don't know what) decides that the game runs on the integrated gpu instead of the dedicated one and therefore you have low FPS
wiscstar Posted July 3, 2022 Author Posted July 3, 2022 (edited) GPU is nVidia GeForce GTX-1050ti. Cpu is Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 quad CPU Q 9650@ 3.00Ghz I've just discovered that my other single missions run all right. It's just "Battle of Biggin Hill" that is jerky. Edited July 3, 2022 by wiscstar
zzzxxxxzzz Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 It may be that this CPU is not enough to run the game at 100%, at least it does not meet the minimum requirements, and surely this mission is more demanding than the others.
=RS=Stix_09 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 (edited) Try deleting the cache here (the game will rebuild this, something I do after any update) ..\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache" Also note the following re-game updates (Note backup the folder first (esp if you have made any custom missions here) Quote Please note that when Single Missions are updated by TFS it is not automatic that you will see the updated missions in your game immediately. This is because TFS will never delete any files that are in your "\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" folder! To get the updated Single Missions you must delete the existing missions in "\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\missions\Single" while the game is not running. Next time you start the game the updated Single Missions will be copied from the game's installation folder (...\Steam\steamapps\...) into "\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\missions\Single" where you can play them.
