is there away to change all radio chatter to English ??

There is a mod for that. Fairly old now. Check the mods section.

Thanks , will look into the mods ,  if you have any pull with the Dev's ??  maybe throw a hint to have that done in game next update .I really don't like mods , they sometimes cause issues .... thanks again ..

Sorry, no pull whatsoever with the developers.

I agree about the mods, I use them sparingly.

The good thing about the modding system here is that it is 1) there are strict limits to what can be modded, 2) most mods are superficial changes only, and 3) the game instantly goes back to default when you uncheck the "Enable Mods" box in Settings. So the risk of messing up your game permanently is low if not nonexistent.

I've only had one mishap with using mods and that was when some splash screens remained after deactivating. I have a backup game on a zip drive which I used some files from to restore it.

Making it official is highly unlikely because the English radio lines are full of USAAF/RAF references which wouldn’t befit VVS/Luftwaffe units. 
 

Such halfhearted “quick&dirty” solutions don’t seem to be the devs style. 
 

For the record: I would wish for a complete radio overhaul bringing coms on par with IL2 46. In that highly unlikely event the addition of a generic English set of lines would actually make sense.

Why? No. Everything is as it should be, US and UK pilots speak English, Luftwaffe pilots speak German and the VVS pilots speak Russian

It's ok as soon as you use the same language than your IA colleagues. I'm not speaking German ands Russian,  so It's weird to fly with people I do not understand...This mod is really a must have for me, and it is online compliant (even if more usefull for offline campaign).

Agreed, more for single player and campaigns   and quick missions, if I want to fly a Russin Campaign, it would be great to have AI and radio chatter in the Native Tonge of the Player and not have to read the screen, with a Russian or German accent would be a plus, I have looked in MODS and could not find it, would it possible for you to post the link?   Thank you.

I rather like hearing the different languages, but I do wish the Germans would stop screaming.

Honestly, someone needs to slip some valium into the packages of speed balls that all of them seem to be munching on all the time.

I agree about the screaming Germans == I just turn off the radio volume.  I found the MOD, will look into installing, still hoping devs make it an official update?

 SAG's All Voices to English mod does not require you to enable mods in game, and I have it on all the time in servers, and I'm not limited to which ones I can play on. You really only need it on the Maps where German, Russian languages are used for the plane sets, if you fly RAF, USAAF, you really don't need it. You can use jsgme to install it like a Mod, or just copy and paste it into your data/Audio/radio file, then it will not appear as a mod. But you may need to reinstall it after an update.

the problem is the language is link to the plane and not to the pilot by default , specially in QMB. A lot of plane was used by a lot of pilots from different countries, in UK pilots from different nations used the same kind of planes and used the same radio channel, in Russia pilots of the Normandie-Niemen squadron spoke in French to the radio and used Russian planes, the worst is the Hurricane which is a plane built by UK and be link by default to a Russia voice… I am a great nostalgic of Il-1946 in which you could easily custom each pilot face and voice and each plane texture number and nationality by the menu…
